We all love being in the know of up and coming artists. There's something oh so good about saying "you've never heard of such and such?" that does the ego good and keeps your music street cred valid. Obviously, you then follow the conversation with a few aimless stats on the artist which makes you sound like their old college roommate. The artist is Conner Youngblood.

He has two EPs out which are Confident and Make Me Faster.

The aimless facts that you'll spout out are as follows: Youngblood is not only a Yale graduate but showed school spirit by being the mascot. He hails from Texas but has since transplanted to Nashville. His childhood home was filled with numerous instruments. He confiscated one of his five sisters' harp and claimed the family keyboard. Despite being able to play 20+ instruments, he humbly states that he's only mastered a few. His collaboration dream was a tough toss up between Gorillaz Damon Albarn or James Blake.
